Season's greetings everyone, and hopefully you shall be the recipient of many timely, relevant, and frequent fishing reports throughout 2024. Even though my year is only 4 days old, it has been excellent. The only species I have focused on up this point are largemouths. But, as you are aware, I don't bother with the numbers lakes. My focus is the trophy lakes, and fisheries that are capable of growing bigger fish.  New for 2024, I did not have any boats undergoing repairs. We took care of them back in November, and again in March. Right now, the Ranger and new ProXS have been flawless. This year, the boat has a few additional upgrades: Lowrance HDS 12 Pro at bow; This summer we will have Active Target 2 installed; And in a week I will have new trailer wheels and tires installed.   Wisconsin Gamefish Opener Forecast With ice out happening in mid March, I know that many of us were concerned about the early spring and progression of spawn.
