Tuesday, 08 October 2019
Fall season 2019 has treated us very well. September from mid to end of month was excellent most days, and now in early October the fishing is getting better! Good bites will continue through the end of month, and my season will conclude then. I’m off the water now until October 20th.

Northwoods Bass Fishing Report, End of Summer 2019

Summer season has come and gone. For me personally, it was a blur. From early July through mid August I barely got to enjoy it. Now that wedding season is over with, I’ve finally returned to my normally scheduled programming; fishing! Since the end of August, lots of changes have been taking place in the

Northwoods Bass Fishing Report, late July and early August, 2019
Sunday, 04 August 2019
Summer season has been a blur. July flew by, and here we are in early August. As of late, we’ve had some very good days on the water, and some poorer days on the water. This has all been relative to lake choices, preference of species, and fishing style. Smallmouth have been belligerent and

Monday, 05 November 2018
My 2018 fishing season in Wisconsin concluded on 10/31, and I’m back down south now in IL coping with the winter months and desk work season. While some fish are still out there to be caught for the next week (maybe?), winter is now making its early arrival.

Northwoods Bass Fishing Report – Early Fall 2018
Wednesday, 03 October 2018
Welcome to autumn 2018. The weather has been lousy most days since I returned to the water on September 22nd, but the fishing has been pretty good on every lake once you find the fish and their fall locations.

Northwoods Bass Fishing Report – End of Summer, 2018
Tuesday, 28 August 2018
Summer 2018 has produced the most 90 degree or hotter days, the past handful of seasons combined. Even though the heat has delivered some of the most explosive big bass fishing of the season, I’m so over it and the heat, and ready for fall to come. Winter can take its sweet time arriving this
