The St. Croix Victory Custom Cranker is exclusively fished as a downsizer for crankbaits. Very soft at the tip end, it’s very accommodating of shallow diving squarebills and crankbaits reaching mid-depth. Beyond these design styles, the rod is underpowered to be able to handle anything larger with resistance, such as Dt-10’s, Strike King 5XD’s.
